Zellamid®
All Zellamid® products are processed according to the general rules for the processing of thermoplastics. HSS or carbide tools are used for the machining of non-reinforced materials, and only carbide tools are used for those that are reinforced. All our tools are always perfectly precise. Also, given the poor thermal conductivity of all thermoplastics, coolants are used to mitigate the heat generated during processing.
